Two weeks in Women's and Children's Hospital, and I start to like the place I am in now.
I spent most of my time in the dispensary and medical wards in the last two weeks. I also had a quick view of the production pharmacy underground, and I have to say that I felt grateful to be part of them either for a morning or a day. Gowning up was inevitably a brand new and fun filling experience to me, even though I know that it was not supposed to be something I should play around with. On top of that, I had several sessions in the drug information unit, listening to calls (note that I only listened, not answered).
The people in the pharmacy have been lovely, because I am a student, and I think people tend to treat student nicely. :)
Easter is coming, which also means five days free from work with Anzac Day falling on Monday. I should take this opportunity to enjoy Adelaide before leaving for Mount Gambier in May. I think I will miss Adelaide & Women's and Children's Hospital.
